Your CV is the first impression of you as a candidate. It should briefly, clearly, and convincingly show who you are, what skills, experience, education, and achievements you have. Here are some tips to make your CV stand out.

Focus on what is most relevant to the position. Use specific examples of projects, tasks, or results. Be sure to review the job description requirements — this will help you tailor your responses.

Update "the About Me" section depending on the position you are applying for. Show why you are the best candidate. Avoid overloading your CV with unnecessary details; include only the key information that is relevant to the specific role.

Use explicit language and active verbs such as"organised," "implemented," "achieved." A well-structured text with clear headings is already half the battle.

Start with your most recent experience or place of employment. If there have been gaps in your career, provide a brief explanation (for example, “maternity leave” or “further studies”). Be sure to review the job description requirements — this will help you tailor your responses.

Before sending your CV, carefully check it for spelling and grammar. Make sure to provide a current email address and, if necessary, include a professional photo (especially if the job posting requires it).

Remember: a well-prepared CV can be your ticket to a new stage in your career — in Ukraine or abroad. Take your time, pay attention to the details, and the results will follow.
